The Municipal Services Committee needs a PWP quarterly report on progress toward zero carbon energy that actually provides metrics.
Please don't allow the existing quarterly report to stand as is. Climate action can't wait. Millions of acres across the world are burning, thousands and millions of people are enduring unbearable heat, coral reefs are bleaching as ocean temperatures hit record highs.
You have the power to make a difference as elected officials of a city. Please keep the city moving STEADILY toward our zero carbon goals.

I'd like you to know how grateful I am to live in Pasadena. It is a wonderful city with much to offer. I learned about Pasadena 100 by way of
Cynthia's fascinating talk at the Linda Vista Library several months ago, what an eye-opener. So, I urge the City Councilmembers, the MSC, PWP, etc. that climate action can't wait. That getting our city to carbon free electricity by 2030 is urgent and should not be put off.

We must turn off the spigot of C02 if we have any hope of slowing down Climate change, and staying healthy in our warmer world.
