Please post this as part of public comment for the 9/16/2026 Public Safety Committee meeting Committee Members and Staff,
I respectfully request that the Committee and staff get caught up with the approval of minutes for Public Safety Committee meeting minutes. The most recent approved minutes are from the 5/28/2026 meeting. The only "minutes" for approval on the agenda for the 9/16 meeting are for 8/19, which was a cancelled meeting. The minutes for 6/17/2026 and 7/15/2026 meetings have yet to be approved. Best practice is to approve minutes at the next meeting because they are an important part of the public record for local government.
