Ladies and Gentlemen:
Kin Properties Inc. acts as the managing agent for Lexkin LLC, the owner ofAutoZone Parts, Inc., 1343 North Fair Oaks Blvd., Pasadena CA. We received the attached Notice of Public Hearing with respect to the recommended City-initiated updates the Fair Oaks Orange Grove Specific Plan.
While we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the proposed updates with Planning staff, we did want to notify the City that the Owners have no plans or intentions of developing housing onthe Property at any time in the foreseeable future. The Owners intend to hold this asset for commercialpurposes for the long term.
We appreciate the hard work going into this Fair Oaks Orange Grove Specific Plan and the challenges the City faces. Therefore, we want to be forthright with the City about our intentions for the Property so that the City can appropriately plan to meet its housing obligations.
