ADVISORY BODY INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS
for Community Organization Applicants to the
AIRPORT COMMISSION

Written public comments can be submitted via email to [email protected] prior to 12:00 PM on the day of the Council meeting to be posted as an addendum to the Agenda. If submitting written comments in advance of the meeting, please note the agenda item by number or name.

DISCUSSION
1. Airport Commission
M. Scandalis, Airport Manager
The Commission serves at the pleasure of the City Council as a means to aid the City Council in gathering public input on the operation and future development of the Paso Robles Airport, by providing advice to the City Council, and by making decisions in those areas delegated by the City Council. Council will be appointing for three vacancies. Applicants are listed below:
• Tony Gaspar
• Marc Dart
• Paul Mazelin
• Eric Cook
OPTIONS:
a. Interview applicants and by majority vote, appoint 3 members to the Airport Commission; or b. Amend, modify, or reject the above option.

VOTING PROCEDURE
Each Councilmember will complete a ranking sheet following each interview. When the interviews are concluded, there will be a brief break in the meeting and City staff will collect the ranking sheets and tally the results. The meeting will reconvene and staff will share the ranking of the top three candidates.

Council will vote and the Mayor will announce the names of those appointed to the Airport Commission.

The writing or document will be available for public review in the City Clerk’s Office, 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA, during normal business hours, and may be posted on the City’s web site at www.prcity.com/government/citycouncil/agendas.asp.
All persons desiring to speak on an agenda item are asked to fill out Speaker Information Cards and give them to the City Clerk prior to public discussion of that item. Each individual speaker will be limited to a presentation total of three (3) minutes per item.
