1. Declaration and Certification of Election Results for Measure I-24 PUBLIC COMMENT: Dale Gustin.
Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Roden and passed unanimously to approve Resolution 24-141 reciting the facts of the General Municipal Election held on November 5, 2024, and declaring the results of Measure I-24.

2. Measure I-24 Transaction and Use Tax – Approval of California Department of Tax and Fee Preparatory and Administration Agreements

Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Roden, and passed unanimously to approve Resolution 24-142, authorizing the Director of Administrative Services to execute agreements with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration for implementation of a local transaction and use tax.

Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Roden, and passed unanimously to approve Resolution 24-143 authorizing the examination of sales or transactions and use tax records.

Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Roden, and passed unanimously to approve Resolution 24-144 expressing the intent to prioritize spending of future Measure I-24 sales tax revenues.
AYES: Gregory, Roden, Bausch, Strong, Hamon
Roll Call Vote Passed Unanimously
Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Roden, and passed 4-1 (Bausch opposed) to authorize the Administrative Services Director to take all further actions necessary to implement Measure I-24's ½-cent transaction and use tax (sales tax) approved the City’s voters.
