The meeting was called to order at 5:02 PM.

C. DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. Art and Culture Board
New in 2026, the Art and Culture Board advises on matters pertaining to visual art in public places within city owned or city-controlled leased areas. This board will help shape the future of public art in Paso Robles by determining art placement locations, reviewing submissions, and selecting qualifying artworks for installation. The five-member board will be fully established with this inaugural recruitment. The City Council interviewed the following applicants with the exception of those noted otherwise.

- Laddon, Anne - submitted a letter in lieu of interview Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Bausch, and passed unanimously to appoint Tracy Dauterman to a partial one-year term on the Art and Culture Board beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027; to appoint Anne Laddon and Laure Carlisle to partial two-year terms on the Art and Culture Board beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2028; and to appoint Karyn Blaney and Daniel Baxter to full three-year terms on the Art and Culture Board beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2029.

ABSENT: Strong
D. ADJOURNMENT
Motioned by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember Beal, and passed unanimously by voice vote to adjourn to the May 19, 2026 regular City Council meeting at 8:53 PM.
