A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON OF CONCURRENCE AND SUPPORT OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (AAP)
PREPARED BY THE STANISLAUS URBAN COUNTY CONSORTIUM FOR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG), EMERGENCY
SOLUTIONS GRANTS (ESG) AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP ACT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Stanislaus Urban County Consortium which includes the cities of Oakdale, Hughson, Newman, Patterson, Ceres, Waterford, Riverbank and unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County have received and expended CDBG, ESG & HOME funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and,
WHEREAS, the Stanislaus Urban County Consortium is required by HUD to prepare an Annual Action Plan (AAP) outlining the Consortia’s goals and projects for the upcoming fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, the draft AAP (2022-2023) has been available for public review from April 6, 2022 and will be presented to the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors on May 3, 2022 for formal review and adoption.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Patterson as follows:
1. The City Council hereby adopts a resolution of concurrence and support of the Stanislaus Urban County Consortium to prepare an AAP for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.
2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into any required negotiations with any entity or agency, public or private, for the purpose of which is to ensure the use of CDBG, ESG and HOME grant money in compliance with HUD guidelines and regulations.
The foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Patterson, held on the 19th day of April 2022, by_______________, who moved its adoption, which motion was duly seconded by ________________, and the resolution adopted by the following roll call vote:
