Stanislaus Community System of Care (CSOC):
Led by a 25-member council representing all major sectors of the community, the CSOC leads homelessness efforts and helps the community act together to achieve shared results of preventing and reducing homelessness.
Stanislaus Homeless Alliance (SHA):

Eight Goals to Address
Homelessness
Goals, Strategies, and Action Steps informed by
extensive community input and feedback
Putting the Plan into Action
Beginning Implementation
• Strategic Plan Implementation Committee
formed
• This group worked to identify and prioritize
the first steps towards implementation of the
goals
• Incident Command System (ICS) framework
identified to mobilize the community
First Steps for Implementation
• Goal 1: Increase availability of permanent housing for people experiencing homelessness
• Goal 3: Achieve equity in governance, outreach, provision of services, program participation, and outcomes while improving outreach, care and culturally attuned services to vulnerable and historically underserved subpopulations
• Goal 6: Increase participation of people with lived experience of homelessness in decision-making and feedback processes across the homeless system of care
Racial equity (Goal 3) and lived
experience participation (Goal 6) must
be consistently implemented and
prioritized throughout the process
