RESOLUTION No. 2023-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024.
WHEREAS, the Stanislaus County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Consortium which includes the cities of Ceres, Hughson, Newman, Oakdale, Riverbank, Patterson and Waterford and unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County has been granted a total allocation of $2,335,030 and,
WHEREAS, the City of Patterson chooses to participate in the entitlement process thereby receiving a portion of the CDBG entitlement grant to Stanislaus County and participating jurisdictions; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Patteson allocation of CDBG funds is $196,808 ($186,648 for CDBG project activities and $10,160 to administer) for 2023-2024 Fiscal Year; and WHEREAS, on April 18th, 2023, the Patterson City Council approved the Annual Action Plan with activities eligible under HUD guidelines,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the CITY OF PATTERSON CITY COUNCIL approves the Community Development Block Grant SubRecipient Agreement between the County of Stanislaus and the City of Patterson and authorizes the City Manager to execute the CDBG SubRecipient Agreement for FY 2023-2024.
