RECOMMENDATION
Receive a presentation from Moss Adams LLP regarding the City's Strategic Plan Update (Colleen Rozillis, Partner)
BACKGROUND
A strategic plan is a comprehensive roadmap that outlines an organization’s long-term goals, objectives, and actions required to achieve them. It is a forward-looking document that guides decision-making and resource allocation, ensuring that all efforts align with the organization’s mission and vision. In fiscal year 2017, the Patterson City Council approved the 2017 - 2021 Patterson Strategic Plan; setting a course of action to effectively administer services and projects through established goals, objectives, and strategies.
ANALYSIS
The 2017-2021 Strategic Plan was completed by Moss Adams LLP and has served the city well but requires an update to stay current with the City Council’s goals and priorities. Due to their familiarity with the city and the quality plan produced previously, Moss Adams LLP has been retained to complete the update to the strategic plan.
To orient the city council, city staff, and the community on the strategic planning process Moss Adams will provide a presentation detailing the plan objectives, steps, and timelines.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact as a result of this report. All costs associated with the Strategic Plan Update have been included in the approved fiscal year 2023-24 budget.
