2 RESOLUTION NO. 2024-04
3 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON, 5 APPROVING A RETAINER FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH 6 CECIL AND CECIL ENTERPRISES, INC., CONSOLIDATED CM, INC. AND 7 GHIRARDELLI ASSOCIATES, INC FOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES 8 FOR A TERM OF THREE YEARS
9 10 WHEREAS, a vital part of the Engineering Department is to conduct the necessary 11 construction inspections for all new commercial, industrial, residential development, and 12 city capital program (CIP) projects as it relates to civil improvements for offsite and onsite 13 construction; and
14 WHEREAS, the three proposals that were submitted were thoroughly reviewed 15 using categories of professional qualifications, experience with similar type work, staff 16 competence/abilities, accessibility, responsiveness; and 17 WHEREAS, for each project, a preliminary scope will be developed and sent to 18 the three firms selected. And firms will then submit a scope, schedule, and price for 19 said project; and
20 WHEREAS, the retainer agreements are for a three year term, with options to 21 extend for two additional one year terms.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of 23 Patterson does hereby:
24 1. Approve the Retainer Consultant Services Agreement with Cecil and Cecil 25 Enterprises, Inc., Consolidated CM, Inc. and Ghirardelli Associates, Inc. for 26 Construction Inspection Services for a term of three years. 27 2. Authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreements. 28 The foregoing resolution was passed by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 20th 29 day of February 2024 _______________ who moved its adoption, which 30 motion was duly seconded by ______________, and the resolution adopted by the 31 following roll call vote:
