A Proclamation of the City Council
of the City of Patterson Declaring Saturday April 20th as “Love Patterson” Day
WHEREAS, the City of Patterson Proudly promotes a healthy, safe and vibrant community and is dedicated to delivering excellent services and engaging meaningful public participation; and
WHEREAS, the vision, mission and values of Love Stanislaus County (DBA Love Patterson) align with the vision, mission and values of the City of Patterson; and WHEREAS, the month of April is recognized in the United States as Volunteer Appreciation Month; and
WHEREAS, government alone cannot meet all of our city’s needs, so we partner with businesses, faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, foundations and individuals who serve in our community to make a difference; and

WHEREAS, the City of Patterson is committed to encouraging volunteerism among its employees, citizens, partners, businesses and organizations; and WHEREAS, by volunteering and recognizing those who serve, we promote partnership, understanding and collaborative problem-solving in our community.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that I, Michael Clauzel, by virtue of authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of Patterson, do hereby officially proclaim Saturday April 20th as “Love Patterson” Day in the City of Patterson. We, the City Council of the City of Patterson do hereby strongly encourage every citizen to volunteer on this day renewing our pride in our city and transforming our community.
IN WITNESS, HEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the official seal of the City of Patterson to be affixed this 16th day of April 2024.
