RESOLUTION NO. 2024-24
A RESOLUTION OF TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON,
TO ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE THE BUDGET FOR A GRANT AWARD FROM
THE DEPARTMENT OF RESOURCES RECYCLING AND RECOVERY
(CALRECYCLE) FOR THE BEVERAGE GRANT PROGRAM
IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,441 IN FY 2023-24
WHEREAS, January 2024, City Staff submitted a grant application to CalRecycle for the Beverage Grant Program in the amount of $6,441. CalRecycle authorized payment, making funds eligible to procure grant fund materials and labor beginning On April 15, 2024. The state’s grant helps to fund the City’s recycling and environmental programs; and WHEREAS, the Council Authorizes the Finance Department to make the necessary budget adjustments for Fiscal Year 2023-24 and all subsequent budgets; and WHEREAS, the City of Patterson will commit to use the grant funds only as approved by the granting agency.
NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Patterson will collaborate with Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) for participation in their Beverage Grant Program to fund the City’s recycling and environmental programs.
