SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution No. 2024-57 to Appropriate $64,440.56 for reimbursement to the Patterson Joint Unified School District for use of the Walnut Grove Community Gymnasium, and Authorize the Finance Department to make the necessary budget adjustments for Fiscal Year 2024/25.
RECOMMENDATION
Motion to Adopt Resolution No. 2024-57 to Appropriate $64,440.56 for reimbursement to the Patterson Joint Unified School District for use of the Walnut Grove Community Gymnasium, and Authorize the Finance Department to make the necessary budget adjustments for Fiscal Year 2024/25.
BACKGROUND
On March 6, 2006, the City of Patterson entered into an agreement with the Patterson Joint Unified School District for joint use of the Walnut Grove Community Gymnasium. The agreement provided for reimbursement of costs for using the gym and the school district was to invoice the city for such use.

ANALYSIS
The City of Patterson desires to continue using the Walnut Grove Community Gymnasium.
Therefore, staff recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution to approve the modification of the budget to use for this purpose.
FISCAL IMPACT
Per the Adopted Fiscal Year 24/25 Budget, the General Fund is anticipated to have $1,516,543 in available fund balance at the end of Fiscal Year 24/25. This appropriation will reduce the available fund balance by $64,440.56, leaving a remaining estimated available fund balance of $1,452,102.
