RESOLUTION NO. 2024-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON,
AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF AN OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT WITH ENGIE SERVICES U.S., INC. FOR ITS SOLAR PANELS AND
AUTHORIZES THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Patterson (“City”) has invested in solar energy installations across several key facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of these systems, regular maintenance and performance monitoring is required; and:
WHEREAS, the City of Patterson wishes to continue to operate the following facilities utilizing solar energy for the following locations:
WHEREAS, the City has contracted out with the original provider and installer of the solar panels since they were originally installed, and Engie Services U.S. continues to offer a proprietary monitoring system that ensures continued compatibility and seamless integration with existing infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, Engie Services U.S., Inc. possess unique knowledge of the City’s installations and providing customized monitoring and maintenance services; and WHEREAS, the City’s wishes to renew a new Operations & Maintenance Agreement with Engie to provide inspection, testing, monitoring, and repair services for a term of five (5) years ; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Patterson hereby approves the five-year contract with Engie Services U.S., Inc. and authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute the new agreement, attached hereto.
