For internal structural alignment, Staff recommends that the salary range of the Water Operator series be increased by 2.5% to be equivalent to that of the Maintenance Worker series, effective November 1, 2024.
FISCAL IMPACT
The 2024-2025 fiscal year impact of realigning the Water Operator classifications series to that of the Maintenance Worker is an increase of $5,336.00. This eight-month projection would not have a negative effect on the General Fund and would be included in the Mid-Year Budget adjustments.
