RESOLUTION NO. 2024-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON,
APPOINTING FERNANDO ULLOA TO THE POSITION OF CITY MANAGER FOR A THREE (3) YEAR TERM, APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
ESTABLISHING SALARY AND BENEFITS, AND AUTHORIZING ACTING PAY OF FIVE PERCENT (5%) FOR THE INTERIM ROLE
WHEREAS, on October 19, 2015, Fernando Ulloa was hired by the City of Patterson as the Director of Engineering, Building and Capital Projects; and WHEREAS, he was appointed by the City of Patterson as the Interim Assistant City Manager effective March 18, 2024 and as the Interim City Manager effective July 1, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the previously authorized acting pay to five percent (5%); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Patterson now desires to appoint Fernando Ulloa to the position of City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set the salary, salary schedule, and benefits as well as other terms and conditions of employment for the City Manager position and approve an Employment Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Employee is willing and qualified to provide City Manager services to the City of Patterson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Patterson, as follows to wit:
Section 1. Fernando Ulloa is hereby appointed to the position of City Manager effective December 4, 2024, at an annual salary of $244,660.08.
Section 2. All other benefits for the position of City Manager shall be as provided for in the Employment Agreement and in accordance with Resolution 2024-68 as specified in said Employment Agreement.
Section 3. The Employment Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved.
Section 4. The previously authorized acting pay of three percent (3%) effective July 1, 2024, shall be amended to five percent (5%).
The foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Patterson held on the 3
