Budget Review, continued
5 General Fund revenue estimates
increased from the adjusted budget due
to the following :
• Sales Taxes decreased $70 thousand
but remains fairly consistent with
initial projection.
• Reimbursements are estimated at
$528 thousand higher than the
adopted budget, primarily due
carried forward expenses from the
prior year. The increase in
reimbursements is needed as only
the cost portion was carried over to
FY25.
• Transfers In Decrease of
$484,368.12 - $674,896.65 Decrease
attributed to CAP and $190,528.53
increase attributed to
reimbursement from CFD
Maintenance Funds for Salary
Reimbursements
General Fund budgeted expenditure
estimates increased from the
adjusted budget due to the following:
• Salary & Benefit increases based on
CAP implementation – salary savings.
• Professional services increased due
to additional Housing Element Costs
• Repairs and Maintenance costs
increased due to needed repairs at
Fire Station #51
• Capital Outlay increased in order
to replace existing fencing at
Police Station Modulars
• Transfer Out Decreased because
Fire Station #52’s deficit was not
as large as initially expected.
