The City of Patterson is the only area agency which
sweeps residential every week. Others are every two
weeks, or once per month.
Most fund their street sweeping program from their
general fund, gas tax or sales tax measures. The City of Patterson funds their program 100% from solid waste
revenues, not impacting the general fund.
