2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON 4 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
5 THREE-YEAR AGRICULTURAL LEASE AGREEMENT, AND
6 TWO-ONE-YEAR EXTENSIONS, WITH DAVID FANTOZZI FARMS FOR THE 7 OLIVE AND SYCAMORE AVENUE PROPERTY
8 9 WHEREAS, the land, known as Assessor’s Parcel Number 047-026-026, more particularly 10 described in Exhibit A to the Agreement, attached hereto, was purchased by the City for the 11 future Villages Sports Complex Project; and
12 13 WHEREAS, in November 2024, City staff solicited proposals from regional agricultural 14 companies and received no proposals. Staff later solicited interest from prior lessees and received 15 a response the Olive and Sycamore property from David Fantozzi Farms for the purposes of 16 farming row and field crops; and
17 18 WHEREAS, by leasing the properties, the City will generate annual revenue in the amount of 19 $850 and revenues are deposited into CFD 2018, Account 180-000-5315; and 20 21 WHEREAS, staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute a three-year agricultural 22 lease agreement, and two-one-year extensions, with David Fantozzi Farms for the Olive and 23 Sycamore property.
24 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council of the City of Patterson 26 authorizes the City Manager to execute a three-year agricultural lease agreement, and two-one27 year extensions, with David Fantozzi Farms for the Olive and Sycamore property. 28 29 The foregoing Resolution of the City Council of the City of Patterson was passed by the City 30 Council at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of April 2025, by ______________, who 31 moved its adoption, which motion was duly seconded by _______________, and the resolution 32 adopted by the following roll call vote:
