A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON OF
CONCURRENCE AND SUPPORT OF THE STANISLAUS URBAN COUNTY AND STANISLAUS HOME CONSORTIUM FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2025-2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AND THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR FISCAL YEARS 2025-2029 AND SUPPORT OF SUBMISSION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD)
WHEREAS, the Stanislaus Urban County is a recognized U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Entitlement jurisdiction that is comprised of the Cities of Ceres, Hughson, Newman, Oakdale, Patterson, Riverbank, Waterford and the unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County that is eligible to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) funds for FY 2025-2026; and WHEREAS, the Stanislaus HOME Consortium which includes the Stanislaus Urban County and the City of Turlock and the unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County have received Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for FY 2025-2026; and
WHEREAS, a Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan are HUD requirements to remain in compliance for federal funding; and
WHEREAS, the City as a member of the Stanislaus Urban County and the HOME Consortium is required to assist the County in the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan planning process to set community priorities, objectives and proposed projects; and WHEREAS, the Draft Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan were made available for public review period for the minimum 30 days requirement to allow the public the opportunity to review and provide comments prior to the public hearing by the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors on May 13, 2025.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Patterson as follows:
1. The City Council hereby adopts a resolution of concurrence and support of the Stanislaus County CDBG Consortium to prepare a Consolidated Plan (Con Plan), and Annual Action Plan (AAP) to document progress made in accomplishing goals set forth in the Consolidated Plan and Action Plan.
