SUBJECT: Approve Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 883, Reading by Title only, Waiving Further Reading, an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Patterson, adding Chapter 9.55, Sex Offender Residency Restrictions, of Title 9, Public Peace, Morals and Welfare, of the Patterson Municipal Code to declare violations of Penal Code section 3003.5 subd. (a) a public nuisance and requires confirmation of registration with the City.
RECOMMENDATION

(a) a public nuisance and requires confirmation of registration with the City.
BACKGROUND
Motion to Approve Second Reading of Ordinance No. 883, Reading by title only, waiving further reading.

ANALYSIS
On June 3, 2025 the City Council approved the First reading and Introduction of Ordinance No. 883 adding Chapter 9.55, Sex Offender Residency Restrictions, of Title 9, Public Peace, Morals and Welfare, of the Patterson Municipal Code to declare violations of Penal Code section 3003.5 subd. (a) a public nuisance and requires confirmation of registration with the City. Staff is now requesting for the City Council to approved the second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 883, with no changes as presented and hereto attached.
