ITEM NO: 6.14
SUBJECT: Motion to Adopt Resolution No. 2025-51 to Abandon the excess Right-ofWay located within APN 047-031-051.

RECOMMENDATION
Motion to Adopt Resolution No. 2025-51 to Abandon the excess Right-of-Way located within APN
APN 047-031-051.

BACKGROUND
The Right-of-Way being vacated was originally granted to the City of Patterson by Document No. 2014-0023413, recorded by Stanislaus County Records on April 16, 2014. During the development of the Sycamore Ranch Subdivision, it was determined that 16.5 feet of the Rightof-Way located on the Northeasterly corner of Lot 74 on Olive Avenue exceeded the necessary width for public use.

ANALYSIS
The portion of the Right-of-Way proposed for abandonment has been deemed excess, is not required for current or future public use, and its relinquishment does not constitute an unlawful or unethical gift of property, nor does it violate the California Land Surveyors Act or any other applicable statute.

FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact is associated with this approval.
