Monthly Report
The following information is provided as an update regarding the Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission meeting activities during the month of November and updates for previously approved projects.
Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:00 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers. 5-Member Commission

Vice-Chair Kandace Weyhrauch Term: May 2023-2025
Commissioner Joanne Marci Term: May 2024-2026

Parks & Recreation & Beautification Commission Meeting:
The regular meeting scheduled for July 16, 2025, was held in person at 5:00 p.m. The agenda items are listed below.
1. Vice-Chair Weyhrauch to have a detailed discussion with PRBC about the ability to provide their suggestion with tree species that will provide additional shade with new parks (not developed yet).
2. Vice-Chair Weyhrauch discussion with naming process for the “no name park” on Holdenhurst Lane and Ashwood Lane at Village of Patterson (VOP).
3. Update with Recreation Department regarding “Month at a Glance” for programs/events and plans for additional posting of programs/events.
4. Commissioner Marci with discussion with PRBC involvement with Community Special Events (example: Christmas Tree Decoration event) Agendas & Minutes can be located on the city website under the agenda center.
The next regular meeting will be scheduled for August 20, 2025. The meeting will be held in person in the City Council Chambers.
