RESOLUTION NO. 2025-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PATTERSON,
AUTHORIZING THE DEDICATION OF A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN APN 131-017-025
WHEREAS, 20 feet of alley was abandoned and recorded by Stanislaus County Recorder’s office on May 31, 2012, Document No. 2010-0078741. The City Council of Patterson has considered the dedication of 10 feet of 20 the foot wide easement that was previously abandoned located within APN: 131-017-025 for sanitary sewer utilities (services) on the easterly side of the alley.
WHEREAS, the sanitary sewer easement is needed to provide sewer services to the property located at 415 S. Fourth Street, Patterson, APN 131-017-026. The sanitary sewer easement is not considered a gift or conveyance of property in any way unethical or unlawful, and does not violate the provisions of the California Land Surveyors Act or any other statute; and
WHEREAS, a Public Meeting was held August 19, 2025, to receive public comments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Patterson, California, hereby approves the dedication of Sanitary Sewer Easement within the parcel recorded as APN 131-017-025 as described in Exhibit “A” (Legal Description for Sanitary Sewer Easement to be dedicated to the City of Patterson) and depicted on Exhibit “B” (Sanitary Sewer Easement, City of Patterson), attached hereto.
The foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Patterson held on the 19th day of August 2025, by ______________, who moved its adoption, which motion was duly seconded by __________________, and it was upon roll call carried and the resolution adopted by the following roll call vote:
