Call to Order
The Special (Closed Session) Council meeting of the City Council of the City of Patterson of August 21, 2026 was called to order in the City of patterson at 5:02 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tem Roque.
Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Gov. Code, § 54956.9(d)(2): One (1) potential matter Statements of Conflict

4. At 5:04 p.m. there being no items from the public, the Patterson City Council adjourned to closed session.
Report from Closed Session (if any)
By a vote of 3-0-1 with Councilmembers Roque, Mora and Hernandez voting in support and Councilmember Jack abstaining, the City Attorney has been directed to prepare a written request for censure of Mayor Clauzel to be presented to the Rules Committee.
By a vote of 3-0-1 with Councilmembers Roque, Mora and Hernandez voting in support and Councilmember Jack abstaining, the City Council appoints Councilmembers Roque, Mora and Hernandez to constitute the Rules Committee to consider the written request for censure.
By a vote of 3-0-1 with Councilmembers Roque, Mora and Hernandez voting in support and Councilmember Jack abstaining, the City Attorney’s office is directed to provide notice to the Mayor of the Rules Committee as required for consideration of the request for censure.

There being no further business, the special (closed session) meeting of the City Council of the City of Patterson of August 21, 2026 was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
