A Special Meeting of the City Council was held at the Pico Rivera Senior Center, 9200 Mines Avenue, Pico Rivera, California.
Mayor Dr. Sanchez called the special meeting to order at 8:52 a.m. on behalf of the City Council.
PRESENT: Camacho, Elias, Lara, Lutz, Sanchez
ABSENT: None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Led by Mayor Pro Tem Lutz
PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
City Council:
1. Strategic Planning Session
Patrick Ibarra of The Mejorando Group presented and led the City Council for discussion with the following topics: Identify and discuss benefits from Good Government; Decision -Making Devices; Enhancing Credibility as a Governing Body; Strategies for Creating a More Credible, Effective Governing Body; Refresher on the Council -Manager form of government; Review and Update; Complete STEEP (Social, Technology, Economic, Environment and Political) Analysis; Discussed potential strategic objectives; and discussed next steps.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Dr. Sanchez adjourned the City Council meeting at 2:35 p.m. There being no objection it was so ordered.
