A Special Meeting of the City Council was held in the Community Room, Parks and Recreation Building, 6767 Passons Boulevard, Pico Rivera, California Mayor Camacho called the special meeting to order at 4.06 p m on behalf of the City Council.

a. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956 9(d)(2)
Consideration of initiation of litigation in one (1) potential case regarding Municipal Code enforcement, nuisance abatement, State and County regulatory violations and initiation of lawsuit, including but not limited to seeking judicial orders and a temporary restraining order (TRO) relating to the operational activities at the property and business located within the City of Pico Rivera, and to include all parties, owners and operators, and other related individuals involved in such activities
City Attorney Alvarez-Glasman stated that the City Council received a briefing and unanimously authorized the filing of a lawsuit against Epic Motel and all parties, owners and operators involved in the unauthorized operation at that location and to seek a

temporary restraining order to seek a court order to cease such uses at the Epic Motel location No further action was taken and there was nothing further to report.
