SUBJECT: Appointment of City Council Liaisons from 02/22/2022 to 12/31/2022
RECOMMENDATION
By motion, approve the attached City Council liaison assignments from February 22, 2022 through December 31, 2022, as proposed by Mayor King.
BACKGROUND
It is customary for City Council members to act as liaison to one or more City commissions or committees as well as serving on regional advisory groups during their term of office. The Council also appoints members to the City Council Audit Subcommittee and the Police & Fire Pension Board & City Investment Subcommittee. With the resignation of Councilmember Rood and the appointment of Councilmember Long to succeed him, Mayor King proposes the attached revised assignments, for a period beginning February 22, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022.
If approved, notice of the liaison assignments will be sent to all Commissions and Committees and to the affected local and regional boards.
