Dear Mr. Jackson,
We know that you and the Piedmont City Council are trying to follow proper procedures in evaluating the 2023 Housing Element in Blair Park. However, we do not feel that the significant concerns regarding building units in a narrow canyon with steep hillsides already prone to slides and along a heavily traveled route have been considered.
Many of our neighbors have expressed and communicated their concerns but all seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
We firmly believe that the concerns of the Friends of Moraga Canyon reflect our views and unanswered questions.
Additional study to address environmental impacts and open communication would be greatly appreciated.
