SUBJECT: Appointment to Recreation Commission
RECOMMENDATION
Make appointment to the Recreation Commission for a term ending March 31, 2028.
BACKGROUND
The City Council conducted interviews for vacancies on the Recreation Commission on March 10, 2025, and made appointments to open seats that existed at the time. Overall, the quality of the candidate pool was strong and the number of candidates exceeded the number of vacancies.
Since the March meeting, Recreation Commissioner Jenny Feinberg resigned her position effective December 18, 2025, creating a vacancy on the body. Applications submitted as part of the 2025 recruitment for the Recreation Commission are now presented for consideration. The candidate has confirmed ongoing interest in community service.
