Dear Council Members,
Re Item #8 on your Meeting Agenda tonight: I totally support the 3% increase in payment to Oakland for Piedmont library services. The Oakland Library is an incredible, wonderful resource for Piedmont residents. It is a privilege for all Piedmont residents to be able to go to any Oakland Library branch, order books, videos, CDs, use Library resources, including and especially for children, seek help from Library support staff, and more. In my mind, it’s the best bargain for Piedmont, and I wholeheartedly urge you to approve the payment.
