Interests & Experiences
Experience related to this appointment
I was a practicing lawyer for over 30 years. Throughout my career and for many different purposes, I took the time to understand both the law and facts applicable to whatever problem I was working on and then applied the law to those facts to advance the interests of my client. Outside of the law, I have served as the Discipline Chair of the Piedmont Soccer Club and in that capacity mediated conflicts between community members and the club involving compliance with club standards.

Why are you seeking this appointment?
I recently read about the vacancy for a Parking Hearing Officer. I retired from the practice of law effective December 31, 2025 and have been looking for an opportunity to apply my professional skills in a new way. Both of my parents were public servants (my mother was a judge and my father was a prosecutor) and the opportunity to serve the City in a capacity that is needed appeals to me.
