SUBJECT: Consideration of Acceptance of Improvements for the Hampton Park Artificial Turf Replacement Project
RECOMMENDATION
By a single motion, take the following actions regarding the Hampton Park Artificial Turf Replacement Project:
1. Accept the improvements as complete.
2. Authorize the release of the Performance and Payment Bonds.
3. Direct the Public Works Director to file the Notice of Completion for the project.
BACKGROUND
On July 6, 2026, the City Council authorized award of the Hampton Park Artificial Turf Replacement Project to FieldTurf in the amount of $171,824 with an approved contingency amount of $17,182, for an Overall Budget of $189,006. Approval of an Overall Construction Budget of $189,006. All work associated with this project was recently determined to be complete.
DISCUSSION
Public Works staff have determined that the above-referenced work was completed in accordance with the construction documents and specifications.
Staff is recommending that the City Council accept the improvements associated with this project, authorize the release of the Performance and Payment Bonds and direct the Public Works Director to File a Notice of Completion.
