Request for Qualifications
•Design-Build procurement, as allowable under California Public Contract Code Section 22160
•On October 15, 2021, staff released the RFQ
•Closed on November 12, 2022
•Proposal teams were required to complete firm history, completion of similar projects, to include square footage work on essential services facilities, insurance, workers’ compensation/safety history, references, financial information, and a 38- page questionnaire
•Public Contract Code provides direction on required elements

Based on the prescribed scoring criteria in the RFQ packet,staff recommends the top three firms be invited to submit as part of the Request for Proposals process.
Recommendation Action
Approve the prequalification of design-build entities F&H/LDA, Erickson-Hall/PBK-WLC,and Swinerton/Ten Over to submit proposals for the Public Safety Facility Project.
