I have been fortunate to serve on the PRBC since 2012. As a retired Recreation Manager with over 30 years in the profession, I feel I bring a unique perspective to the role of a commissioner. I have enjoyed the opportunity to share some of my experience which ranges from program and park development issues, to community events, staffing, budgeting and resource development, etc.
During my time on the Commission, I have been privileged to work in collaboration with a number of dedicated community members toward accomplishing many of the Council’s stated goals. I am proud of my part in those successes as well as the impact our collective efforts have had in improving the image of our community and the quality of life here in Pismo Beach. Some of our projects are finally nearing completion and I hope to continue my involvement. It also appears that the PRBC will play a critical role in a number of projects over the next couple of years and I hope the Council will grant me the opportunity to participate in those discussions as well. I respectfully request that the Council approve my application to continue service on the PRBC for another term. Thank you for your consideration.
