Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council,
I respectfully submit my request to be considered for a reappointment to the Parking Advisory Committee. I have a strong desire to continue to serve the citizens of Pismo Beach and the PAC is a perfect opportunity to do so. In the short time I have been on the PAC I have come to understand how complex the parking issues are in the City., particularly the downtown tourist area. While there are no easy solutions to this problem I believe that things can continue to be improved through vigilant review and a commitment to research and explore successful solutions found in other communities.
Unfortunately, my time on the PAC has been fairly difficult since we have never been able to meet in person. Although we have met on Zoom, I believe we can have better collaboration when we are able to talk to each other in person. I look forward to the opportunity to do that.
Thank you for this opportunity to serve this wonderful community and, regardless of the outcome of this process, I appreciate all that you do to maintain the quality of life we have in Pismo Beach.
