Hello Pismo Beach City Council Members!
I would like to thank you for my recent appointment to the Planning Commission. I am honored to serve the community of Pismo Beach and appreciate the faith you have placed in me.
I would also like to confirm my desire to continue serving on the Planning Commission for another term. As a Shell Beach homeowner, continuing to support the appropriate and responsible development of our community is personally relevant to me. I recognize the importance of the decisions that lie ahead. Not only will we be assessing future projects as they come on-line, but we will also participate in updating the General Plan for our community.
As a recent appointment, I bring a unique viewpoint to the Planning Commission informed by my perspective as a mother of elementary age children who attend school in our community. Families in Pismo Beach represent a large and growing demographic within our City yet may not be as well represented by other commissioners. I believe including individuals with varied backgrounds and experiences will aid the next Planning Commission in making decisions that more broadly reflect the views of the entirety of the Pismo Beach Community.
I am excited at the prospect of continuing to participate on the Planning Commission and look forward to working together to ensure the City of Pismo Beach remains a beautiful and inviting classic California beach town.
