Good day Mister Mayor and City Council Members,
Thank you for the opportunity to reapply for a position on The Conference and Visitors Advisory Board.
Having served two terms now I feel that my knowledge has grown and improved with each new year.
It has been a very satisfying experience to participate in recommending new ways for the use of LBID funds for the benefit of our residents and community.
I'm particularly proud of the work we've done with assisting in the realization of the Pismo Preserve, the ISA / Amp Surf event this last December, and the contributions made towards other lifestyle branding events such as “Wine and Waves” and “Classic California.” Although I am a resident of Grover Beach, I have worked in Pismo Beach for the better part of 23 years, managing several restaurants and hotels. I have a deep commitment to this community which I call home … or, at least, “home adjacent."
I believe I can continue to contribute to the significant work that The CVB Advisory Board is doing for the community of Pismo Beach and its residents and visitors by serving another term on the Advisory Board.
It would be proud to be selected to continue in my service to our community. I hope that you are collectively in agreement.
