SUBJECT/TITLE:
NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE DINOSAUR CAVES AND PRICE HISTORICAL
PARK RESTROOM PROJECT
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the City Manager to sign, and the City Clerk to record, a Notice of Completion for the Dinosaur Caves and Price Historical Park Restroom Project.
BACKGROUND:
On August 17, 2021, the City Council awarded a contract to J.J. Fisher Construction, Inc. for the Dinosaur Caves and Price Historical Park Restroom Project. The project included the installation of a new larger restroom building at Dinosaur Caves Park and the relocation of the existing restroom to Price Historical Park.
Conclusion and Recommendation
J.J. Fisher Construction, Inc. has completed the contracted services and the Dinosaur Caves and Price Historical Park Restroom project has been completed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the project as complete and authorize the Notice of Completion (Attachment 1) to be recorded at the County Clerk’s office.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no direct fiscal impact associated with this action.
ALTERNATIVES:
1.Since J.J. Fisher Construction, Inc. has completed their contractual obligations, the only option recommended is for City Council to approve the Notice of Completion.

FOR THE DINOSAUR CAVES AND PRICE HISTORICAL PARK RESTROOM
PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Pismo Beach in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, as follows:
1. That on the 17th of May 2022, the project hereunder described was considered completed and accepted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach.
2. That the description of said project is the Dinosaur Caves and Price Historical Park Restroom Project for the City of Pismo Beach.
3. That the name of the political subdivision controlling said project is the City of Pismo Beach, in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, whose address is 760 Mattie Road, Pismo Beach, CA 93449.
4. That the name of the contractor on said project is J.J. Fisher Construction, Inc., P.O. Box 2219, Nipomo, CA 93444.
5. The name of the Surety of the project is The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, P.O. Box 34526, Seattle, WA 98124.
