RESOLUTION NO. R-2022-042
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PISMO BEACH,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CALLANDER ASSOCIATES LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $130,765 FOR THE
DESIGN OF THE VENTANA TENNIS COURTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, a new Public Safety Facility is proposed to be constructed on the corner of Bello Street and Wadsworth Avenue, displacing the two existing tennis courts and basketball court (sports courts) at that location; and
WHEREAS, staff presented Council with an analysis of two proposed locations for the relocated sports courts and the Council selected the City -owned vacant lot on Ventana Drive as the location for the relocated sports courts; and WHEREAS, staff issued a formal Request for Proposals (RFP) for professional engineering services for the design of the Ventana Tennis Courts project; and WHEREAS, three proposals were received and evaluated by a review panel; and WHEREAS, Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. was selected to perform the work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. in the amount of $130,765 for the design of the Ventana Tennis Courts project (scope provided as Exhibit A).
UPON MOTION OF Council Member Guthrie, seconded by Council Member Newton, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach this 17tn day of May 2022, by the following vote.- , _'

PAYMENTS
Payments are due within ten days after monthly billing. Collander Associates reserves the right to suspend services for non-payment if payment is not received within a period of 60 days after invoice date. Additionally invoices 60 days past due are subject to a 1.5% per month interest charge, Retainer amounts, if indicated, are due upon signing the agreement and shall be applied to the final invoice for the project.
