Pismo Beach City Council,
Please don't destroy the brick front of this building.
Please consider and make choices that save as much of the facade of the building as possible.
Please remove its destruction from the consent agenda, and bring discussion of this decision making into the light.
I grew up going to City Council meetings in this building. I thought this was what a City Hall looked like. I love this building. In Jr. High I petitioned the City for Trash Bags and a bag pickup by City Staff, to pick up all the trash on Shell Beach Road, My aunt married the Mayor in this building, I served as City Manager for Student in Government Day in High School. I didn't know the building's history at that time. This beautiful building was dear to me for my history and my family's history within its walls. I love my twice daily drive past it to this day. I would like to continue to see it.
Please don't destroy the brick front of this beautiful building, for love of history past, and for your citizens' current love of it today.
Please consider and make choices that save as much of the facade of the building as possible.
