Absolutely no, no no no to the Newton plan. I will find a number of people who will say the same thing.
This can’t continue to happen to our precious city. I don’t know how much time I have to raise opposition to this. But I’m with Effie McDermott. Please listen to us.
There is a lot of history here, and that makes us city proud. If we continue to change things as Mr. Newton and Ms Guthrie seem to want, we will lose our character and become just like any other town. Please stand fast. Thank you.
