To the City Council,
Our neighborhood on N Silver Shoals Dr wishes to thank you for your discussion and vote last night to put a moratorium on STRs in our City pending further review.
We all watched the discussion and the many flaws in our current situation were identified well by the Council. There were a number of us who tried to call in during the public comment period, but none of us are that familiar with the correct way to do it. We intend to learn, however, and provide input to the Council going forward,
The STR at 125 N. Silver Shoals Dr. should never have been issued and is a perfect example of what problems the STRs in residential neighborhoods are causing in our City.
This STR on our street has impacted our previous residential neighborhood in an extremely negative way. It has ruined our neighborhood for a great number of residents. People are extremely upset and feel City staff are not being responsive to our concerns. We have problem after problem with this property, and people are feeling frustrated and ignored.
