We are totally opposed to having Short term rentals in our neighborhoods. The current rules are not being enforced properly, and the permit process is ripe for fraud.
The best solution is to ban all STRs in our residential neighborhoods. Many cities already have rules in place prohibiting this type of activity.
If you allow the current situation to continue, then it will destroy the neighborhoods with transient activity that negatively impacts our quality of life and our property values. We don't feel safe with the constant turnover of people caused by these STRs.
