First, Thank you Mayor, City Council and City Manager for addressing the STR issues we are facing in our residential neighborhood. I was disappointed I wasn't able to successfully call in, however, a lot of the issues you addressed well, Thank You.
City Council member Guthrie brought up a wonderful point and that is the burden of proof falls upon the residents. I would like to propose that when looking at restructuring the language of STR's, that residential areas would be forbidden to have STR's. There are many areas of Pismo Beach that have hotels, condos and houses in the tourism area.
I'm optimistic Pismo Beach will be an excellent example of how to combine a town that has tourism without destroying residential communities.
