60W A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PISMO BEACH, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ENTER INTO A PROPOSITION 1
GROUNDWATER GRANT PROGRAM FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE
WATER RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD AND AUTHORIZING AND DESIGNATING
A REPRESENTATIVES FOR CENTRAL COAST BLUE
WHEREAS, the City of Pismo Beach has submitted an application to the State Water Resources Control Board for Proposition 1 Groundwater Grant Program funding for Central Coast Blue (Project); and
WHEREAS, prior to the State Water Resources Control Board's executing a funding agreement, the City of Pismo Beach is required to adopt a resolution authorizing an agent, or representative, to sign the funding agreement, amendments, and requests for disbursement on behalf of the City of Pismo Beach and to carry out other necessary Project -related activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Pismo Beach is hereby authorized to carry out the Project, enter into a funding agreement with the State Water Resources Control Board, and accept and expend State funds for the Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby 6" asserts that the City Manager, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, or Administrative Services Director, or designee, is hereby authorized and designated to sign, for and on behalf of the City of Pismo Beach, the funding agreement for the Project and any amendments thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby asserts that the City Manager, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, or Administrative Services Director, or designee, is hereby authorized and designated to represent the City of Pismo Beach in carrying out the City of Pismo Beach's responsibilities under the funding agreement, including certifying invoices and disbursement requests for Project costs on behalf of the City of Pismo Beach and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach hereby asserts that any and all actions, whether previously or subsequently taken by the City of Pismo Beach, which are consistent with the intent and purposes of the foregoing resolution, shall be, and hereby are, in all respects, ratified, approved and confirmed.
UPON MOTION OF Council Member Guthrie, seconded by Council Member Newton, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Pismo Beach this 21 st day of June 2022, by the following vote:
