Hello Pismo Beach City Council,
I was very dissatisfied by Marcia Guthrie comment calling AirBnB hosts Cash -Cows! We have worked very hard for our property that we own in The City of Pismo Beach and Grover Beach - we are established and are very community oriented. We sacrificed a lot saving money, no vacations and put our boys through college too- these rentals are our retirement.
We are not taking away from the housing crisis as we live in our property 6 months out of the year.
We also have a rental in Grover Beach that honestly has been nothing but trouble- squatters, graffiti and non- payment from renters. AirBnB has been refreshing.
Please we are not Cash -Cows- A public apology to all AirBnB hosts is a necessity. We help bring revenue to this city!
