Award Date(mm/dd/yy): 11/12/21
Contract Completion Date(mm/dd/yy): 04/27/22
Actual Completion Date(mm/dd/yy): 08/02/22
Explain Differences: Project was delayed due to material availability for 20-inch DIP,and butterfly valves for 16-inch and 20-inch pipe. Contract time changes reflect changes in conditions during install for complex inverts with 20-inch DIP for long runs to avoid existing utilities. The contractor was very effective in potholing locations to help the GSWC to quickly determine the new route to continue construction. Some of the inverts required new waivers which also took time for review and approval.

Original Contract Price(Award Amount): $2,210,797.50
Final Contract Price(to include all modifications, if applicable): $2,298,895.93 Explain Differences: The difference in cost of$88,098.43 is attributed to the combination of multiple large pipe inverts throughout the main, time and materials to avoid unknown utilities to avoid during construction, and repair of the trench due to poor soil conditions during install. The contractor made every effort to identify the unknown conditions and worked with GSWC to continue construction in accordance to design standards. All extra costs were tracked and agreed upon between the Contractor and GSWC.
