V. Lopez Jr. and Sons completed the Randall Road Debris Basin Project on July 15,2022. The project involved constructing a 90,000 CY debris basin, intended to minimize the potential debris flows. This project was extremely important to the community as it was located in an area where several individuals lost their lives, during the 2018 Montecito CA Thomas Fire Debris Flow. Not only did V. Lopez and Sons complete the work but balanced the need to work proficiently and delicately, as residents nearby were still mourning the impacts of the disaster.V. Lopez and Sons proved to be up to the challenge and the Santa Barbara County Flood Control District is grateful for their work.
